Our story

Westron Care is a CQC-registered provider of private ambulance and patient transport services, based at The Enterprise Hub in Walsall. We support hospital patients, older adults, care home residents, outpatients, private clients, local authorities and healthcare organisations across the West Midlands and beyond.

Our drivers, care assistants and patient transport crew are trained in first aid, safeguarding, passenger care and moving & handling. They know that behind every request is a person who deserves reassurance, comfort and respect, and that a calm, well-managed journey can make a stressful day easier for the whole family.

Whether we are assisting with a wheelchair or stretcher transfer, helping someone up the stairs at home or simply providing a friendly face on the way to an appointment, our aim is the same: to deliver every journey safely, comfortably and with dignity.

Vehicles & equipment

Our fleet is professionally maintained, comprehensively insured and kept clean. Vehicles carry a defibrillator, first-aid supplies and EVAQ8 evacuation equipment, and you can choose between marked and unmarked vehicles for added discretion.

For passengers who need extra help, we use wheelchair restraints, carry chairs and stretchers, with two-person lift assistance and approved moving & handling techniques to protect both the passenger and our crew. Vehicle tracking by RAC telematics helps us keep journeys on schedule.
